WnW First Visit The Merlion

We spent a most relaxed and pleasant evening :)
Did you ever see the Merlion?
A few months ago Wesley was wondering how big the Merlion is? I was surprised and asked him why he suddenly asked me about the Merlion. He said he saw “it” at my dressing table. I was puzzled.
Went into my room and took a look at the table….…..oh, The Merlion Calendar lah!
“Mummy, can you bring me to see the Merlion? 我很想看鱼尾狮leh!” Wesley asked.
“Huh? 为什么你知道Merlion是叫鱼尾狮?” I appeared happy and asked.
He smiled happily and said, “我老师教的啦!”
I promised to bring him to see The Merlion during the school holiday.
But we have been spent with family/friends almost every weekend. I nearly forgot about my promise.
Until few days ago Wesley asked my helper when the school will reopen. My helper told him that he will start school next week. He was shocked and said sadly, “Next week school reopen still haven’t bring me to see Merlion!” :(
I felt so sorry and I was so glad my helper told me.
Finally! I'm glad to announce that today we going to bring Wesley and Wilfred to see the Merlion!!!

Year-End Makan
The year is coming to an end soon...............to complete the year, my dept senior invited me and few colleagues to fill our tummy at Grand Hyatt Hotel – Straits Kitchen :)
Had a great dinner but I think I’m not 吃buffet 的料 because I felt so full just ate a little bit :P

1 Mth Post Lasik
Basically my vision is pretty good in my left eye than my right and I've been told that a healing period will take at least 3-6 months, so need not to worry too much.

John & Vivien’s Wedding
Yesterday was 冬至 & also John (hubby’s nephew) & Vivien Chinese Customary Wedding. And today was their Wedding dinner at OCC.
The wedding was wonderful and we all had a great time! Especially Wesley & Wilfred; they love the soft drinks and drank a lot of 7-up!!! Can you just imagine that? However, just for today, a great occasion :)

Dream
When I was eating my breakfast this morning, Wilfred woke up and came to hug me.
“Mummy, kakak 不见了! 我找不到她! 她不在我的room! 我去toilet找她,也是没有! Kithcen and living room 都找不到她! 我好怕! 我哭着叫 “kakak! Kakak!” 她没有应我.” He said sadly.
Oh, he must had a bad dream.

今天Wilfred怪我拿cane 打他. 我告诉他因为我警告他多次, 他都不听. 我只好请他吃 “cane”!!!
他还是不停的说我不该拿cane 打他, 我问他, “那你不听话, Mummy该怎么教训你???”. 他说, “Pull my ear lah!” 之后, 再补充, “Pull my ear 轻轻的, ok?”

Assessment at 3 years
I took leave to bring Wilfred for a developmental assessment appointment at nearest Poly.
Apparently, he had achieved the requirements listed……
can put on his own clothes and shoes.
can completely remove his own clothes.
can drink milk from a cup (day & night)
can plays imaginatively.
can put 6 small blocks one on top of the other without the blocks falling.
can draws straight line and compare which is longer.
can point and name each animal black&whilte pictures correctly when asked.
can use a combination of at least two words to make a meaningful phrase.
can walk up & down staircase by himself.
Diaperless day and night.
But But……..we’re disappointed by his growth results :(
His height is 94cm (within average) but his weight is only 12.7kg!!! So sad, he is underaverage!!!
We were advised to feed him frequently instead of just 3 meals. (Yes, Wilfred is eating 3 meals a day only).
Besides the three meals, what else I can cook for him??? *Scratching my head*
